Zapote in Breaux Bridge

Every time I eat here the experience is just awesome. The portions are large for a great price. We ordered to go today and it came with chips and salsa which was a nice little surprise. Overall a nice place to fill your belly.

The food is pretty good here, but they don't speak English well, so you can't ask questions. The music is a bit loud.

Food was good service was slow

My husband and I and his daughter and her boyfriend ate there last night and food was good but not even 30 mins after we ate all 4 of us were sick to our stomachs. This use to be my favorite place to eat but I'll never return.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Small, quaint restaurant with south of the border decor. The food is very reasonably priced and good. Service is friendly. If you order an ice tea...you'll get a half gallon...

Waiter was nice. Salsa tasted like ketchup. I don't like liquid white cheese, and that's what was poured over my nachos.

very bad service they were robbing me in the payment the amount of 12 dollars now I will show them the receipts 06/03/2020. 7:30 pm If someone was there, I hope they realized what happened, the guy when he called me ran away, obviously I would stay there until I was re-recorded what I was being robbed. If I was not stealing, I would not return money, don't you think? It is not so much the amount of what you are being robbed if not the character of the person still get arrogant and do not want to give their face until they realize that one has enough evidence. my people were buying for two weeks I have all the receipts, orita I will show my own experience if you are a customer I hope and see this comment ...

They need to run the AC when it's 90+ degrees outside. The restaurant feels like it is mostly cooled by fans. Food has always been good.

Good food. Good service. Years ago. Update. Food has been going in the wrong direction. Ever since Roberto left the food continues to have more and more problems. The rice has not been cooked the last 3 times I've been there. The chips tonight were stale. Salsa is not fresh made in house. It's just poured out of a jar. We used to go here at least once a week now I'm not sure if I will ever be back. ☹☹

I expected better. The fajita nachos were ok, but the fajita taco salad was literally pieces of steak with a small pile of lettuce and slice of tomato. It didn't even have peppers or onions.

Fast and great food !

My husband ordered the chicken and rice dish to go and as soon as we got home he was feeling sick. Next morning he was throwing up and was having terrible stomach pains. Went to the emergency room and they confirmed it was in fact food poisoning. This is the only place he ate that day and was the only one in the family who ate here and gotten sick. Never eating here again.

Best Mexican restaurant in the town and beyond. Better then anywhere in Lafayette!! Family oriented , great staff friendly and food comes out on time sizziling hot and taste is authentic!

Very good food and the 2 for 1 margaritas are very good. Also not too expensive. We go there when we want authentic Mexican food.

This place could use a landscaper to spruce it up again. Make it more inviting. The good was good on my part. I had the chicken taco salad. My brother however ordered the ground beef burritos and suffered with food poisoning the next day. Not good.
